I, Vladimir Prikhodko,
the founder and president of the International January 1 Club, am glad to
meet you in our Club. It has been created in order to unite all the people born on a unique day -
January, 1st. I am sure that our International January 1 Club will become a significant and
interesting event in Your life and the life of the Internet. Welcome to the Club pages!
We are unusual people, 'cause we have been born on a significant day, the day when years, decades, centuries and even millenniums change! The understanding of significance of this event is of special meaning on the eve of the third millennium. Creating our Club is an effective way to mark the coming of the new millennium and to form new realities for us in it. The Club is an open informal community of people interested in increasing the number of their friends, widening their outlook, creating new ways of cultural and intellectual communication, driving motive for which is the unique date of their birth. Our Club is the place where one can have a good time with his (her) new friends. There will be plenty of intriguing information in the Club. For instance, You will learn that twelve (!!!) cosmonauts and astronauts have been born on January 1st, which is in contradiction with all the laws of mathematical statistics! You will learn who of the famous people has also been born on January 1st on the OUR CELEBRITIES page. Exciting projects will be carried out, one of which is already announced on the OUR STORIES page. You can become member of our Club if You visit the page named ABOUT YOU. Not only people, but also organizations, companies, newspapers, etc., founded on January 1, can be members of our Club. A full list of Club's members can be found on the CLUB'S MEMBERS page. Messages for all Club's members will be located on the CLUB'S NEWS page. The Club's site is written in English and Russian. The Club only starts its life. I am sure it will be interesting and long.
